WHAT DOES THE LIFETIME WARRANTY COVER?

Engine:

Engine block and cylinder heads and all internally lubricated parts including pistons, piston rings, pins and cylinder sleeves; crankshaft, pulley, main bearings, caps and bolts; connecting rods, rod bearings, caps and bolts; camshaft(s), camshaft bearings, buttons and plugs; timing gears, chain or belt, and tensioner; rocker arms, rocker arm pivots, shafts and bushings; intake and exhaust valves, springs, guides, adjusters, retainers and seats; pushrods and lifters; intake manifold; exhaust manifolds; balance shaft; water pump; fuel pump; thermostat; oil pump, cover, gears, pressure relief valve and screen; rotor housing, rotors, shims and silent shaft; all internal fasteners, nuts and bolts; turbocharger/supercharger assembly including boost valve, boost pressure control, waste gate, recirculation and blow off valve; oil pan; valve, timing and side covers; thermostat housing; water pump pulley; engine mounts; harmonic balancer; flex plate/flywheel and ring gear; seals and gaskets.

Is the coverage transferable?

No, original owner only.

Do I have to service the vehicle at the dealership to keep the warranty valid?

No. You can service the vehicle with any ASE certified repair facility, mechanic shop, service department or dealership. However, we would love for you to service your vehicle with us.

What do I have to do in order to keep my warranty valid?

Only do the factory recommended services at the factory recommended intervals. You do not need to do any additional service work other than what the owner’s manual/factory recommends.

Introducing Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance

  • 3 years or 36,000 miles
  • Effective Saturday, February 1, 2020, every 2020 model year retail or leased Hyundai vehicle will include 3-years/36K miles of normal factory scheduled oil change, tire rotation, and/or multi-point inspection.
  • Covers oil change, oil filter change, tire rotation, and/or multi-point inspection following the normal maintenance scheduled intervals listed in the vehicle’s Owner’s Manual

  • Covers basic factory maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, for the Normal maintenance scheduled intervals listed in the vehicle Owner’s Manual. Service will only include oil change, oil filter change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection.
  • Services will be performed by factory-trained technicians, who will be required to comply with all factory requirements.

Why do I have to go to a Hyundai dealership for service?

Only authorized Hyundai dealerships are certified to complete Hyundai Complimentary maintenance services on your Hyundai vehicles.

How much would it cost?

What services do I get with HCM?

Service only includes oil change, oil filter change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection.

Why can’t I get an air filter change with HCM?

HCM only includes oil change, oil filter change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection. Your local Hyundai dealer has available pre-paid maintenance programs for purchase to cover severe operating conditions, full maintenance and wear, and additional time/mileage beyond HCM coverage.

Can I cancel HCM?

No, HCM is complimentary and cannot be cancelled.

How do I get money back after my vehicle gets serviced elsewhere?

You will not receive reimbursements for services completed at a non-Hyundai dealership.

If my Hyundai dealer won’t perform complimentary maintenance, what can I do?

The dealership told me I had full maintenance, why isn’t everything covered?
