I contacted Westside Hyundai from out of town after finding a vehicle they had in the exact color combination I was looking for. After approximately 30 minutes of negotiations over multiple calls, we agreed on pricing and vehicle delivery. Before placing a $1,000 deposit to hold the car, I explicitly confirmed twice with the sales agent—during a recorded phone conversation—that the deposit was fully refundable. Only after receiving that confirmation did I proceed with the deposit. The very next morning, due to unexpected financial difficulties, I called to cancel the purchase and request a refund. The sales manager, Michael Lesnick, immediately refused, stating that the deposit was non-refundable. I explained that I had been clearly assured otherwise by the sales agent. Mr. Lesnick said he would review the recorded call and get back to me. About an hour later, he called back claiming he had reviewed the audio and that the sales agent stated the deposit was only refundable if there was something wrong with the car. This was a blatant fabrication. He clearly did not review the recording and instead invented an explanation to justify withholding the money. I then requested to speak with the General Manager. After a long and tense exchange, GM Colby Peterson reviewed the recording himself and confirmed that the deposit was indeed refundable. However, he claimed it was “store policy” that refunds are only issued on Wednesdays or Thursdays—six days later. While this sounded suspicious, I agreed to wait. On Wednesday morning, I sent a polite reminder and received no response. On Thursday, I called and asked for Mr. Peterson, who was unavailable. I left a message requesting a callback, which I never received. Late that evening, I received a text stating that the refund had been processed and that a receipt had been emailed to me. I checked all inbox folders and received nothing. I requested a copy of the refund receipt and again received no response. A legitimate refund would immediately appear as a pending transaction on my credit card, which it has not. This strongly suggests that once again I was misled. Do not give these thieves masquerading as a car dealership your business. They have shown a willingness to lie, deflect, and use sleazy tactics to keep customer money. I tried to resolve this professionally and patiently, but they have left me no choice but to file a credit card dispute. I will also be reporting this experience across social media and to appropriate government agencies so others are aware and can avoid this dealership.

I recently purchased a used Mercedes from Westside Hyundai in Florida, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. After paying $2,000 on December 14th, I wasn’t approved to pick up the car until Monday, December 30th. I had arranged for a transport company to pick up the vehicle on Friday, January 3rd, but was told by the dealership that the car wasn't ready. The Sales Manager explained that it was still in service, working on the sunroof, and would be ready the next day — not taking into account that these transport companies have specific timeframes for pickup and delivery. The next day, the driver arrived only to be kept waiting for over 3 hours before the car was finally released. The vehicle was delivered late Sunday night, and when I inspected it, it was immediately clear that the condition of the car was far from what I had expected. The vehicle was riddled with multiple scratches, the radiator was badly damaged, the sunroof was nonfunctional, and key parts like the gas door and tow cap were missing. None of these issues were disclosed to me at any point during the sale. The next morning, I began examining the car more closely. The sunroof was broken — if it’s hot outside, the interior gets unbearably hot because the sunroof won’t close. The radiator was severely dented, the music system doesn't work at all, and overall, the car was in terrible condition. This vehicle should never have been sold in such a state. Since then, I’ve been trying to reach the Salesman, Sales Manager, and GM to address these serious issues, but after multiple calls every single day, no one has responded or taken any action. This is especially troubling considering I bought the vehicle to use for transporting my one-year-old baby. I would strongly urge anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to stay far away. Their lack of communication, dishonesty about the car’s condition, and failure to address serious issues after the sale is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and avoid Westside Hyundai at all costs.

Worst ever had appointment for recall on trunk latch sat there for 15 minutes told me they didn’t have the part. Made another appointment for 7:30 am sat there until 10:00 am car still had not been looked told them to give me my keys had another appointment to go to. Sept 19: • Picked up after 5 also asked about detail clean and informed that it would be scheduled. Oct 23-24 • We called and set up an appointment for detail clean for the 30th. Oct. 30 • No pictures taken and no proof presented to show damage prior to working on the stain. When I visually inspected the car there were no holes as of drop off. • Wife shows up end of day and informed that there was a hole in the back seat, and it came into the shop that way. • The hole is exactly where the stain was, and we were never contacted about it or informed of any issues. I went through my call log and counted the number of people who told me they would schedule the cleaning there were 3 and at least 2 of them told me this more than once. To date every interaction after signing the papers has been a lesson in frustration and has been nothing but a pain including permanent damage to my car.

I bought a 2013 Chevy Cruze on a Wednesday, it overheated on the way home, not even 2 miles away, and it had no oil or coolant in it when checked. Had it towed to the shop where it cost me $240. The very next day after picking it up from the shop it BROKE DOWN again, still not even 1 week after purchasing it, had it towed to the shop again, only to be told they misdiagnosed it the first time, that the engine head is blown and it is going to cost almost $3,000 to fix it. A female sales person argued with other salesmen at this dealership about them "poaching" my mom during her visit. My elderly mother was looking for a new car after hers was totaled. She had spoken to sales reps on the phone over a period of time, and had made an appointment. Upon her arrival, she was greeted by a salesman, then another salesman appeared. Almost immediately, a female sales person appeared and belligerently insisted my mother was HER customer. The three sales people got into an argument in front of my mother about who she made first contact with, and who she "belonged" to. She found this so upsetting that she left. She did not go back, and wound up buying another new car elsewhere. . If they want to argue over a commission, they need to do so away from the customer. She was upset and I was furious with their unprofessional behavior.

I went into Westside Hyundai with all intentions of just looking at a car with my husband, It was my first time purchasing a car of anytype so I was very unsure of a lot of things. This place has really gone down the drain in terms of professionalism and their choice of staff. Customers should not have to overhear conversations about an employees personal problems, or other inappropriate workplace gossip. As customers, we come to trade, purchase, and/or repair vehicles. It really makes me question if I were to have purchased a vehicle today, that I would not have gotten the best deal because of the distractions. I went to the dealership because I received a letter to upgrade. I was greeted by manager Dewayne Moser. He was knowledge and diligently searched to determine my qualification for an upgrade. When he handed me over to a salesperson things started going down. I don't remember the salesperson's name, I did not feel they were not knowledgeable, friendly nor interested in my purchasing a car.

I went online and entered my information for all Hyundai dealers in the area, approx. 10 min. After hitting enter Melton called and we set an appt. Previous car experience was that it would be a 4-5 hour affair, but to my unbelief not only was Kelton attentive, courteous and fair but I was driving out in under 2 hrs. No pressure sales!!
